L'Alliance Francais teaches French pretty well, and they do not normally use English to teach French. In fact, I believe some of their teachers cannot even speak fluent English. However, they do not use use Cantonese or Mandarin either as they teach the native way - body language or point and speak.

The pronounciation of French is sufficient different from English that pronouncing French the English way definition does not work. The 'r' in French cannot be pronounced using English phonetic symbol(s).

市面好多語言中心、法文課程都係以英文作教學，
因為法文既發音可以從英文既拼音去解釋，學生會容易d掌握。
廣東話、普通話唔係唔得，只不過個音一定會唔準囉!
