捨不得/唔捨得 英文點講?

Ever heard of the song "Leaving on a Jet Plane", by Peter, Paul & Mary? It goes like this:

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin, it's early morn
The taxis waiting, he's blowin his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could cry.

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that youll wait for me
Hold me like youll never let me go.

So, the idomatic translation can be simply "I hate to leave you."

Sometimes, you simply can't translate literally. Literal translation often produces "Chinglish".

P.S. If the translation is for school homework, I would suggest you to adopt a conventional translation, such as Answer 003 above.

The other answer 004 above is simply not an equivalent translation. Look at your Chinese original and look at the translation. Obviously, the translation at 004 is pompous as well as clumsy, a mistranslation indeed!

我唔捨得你, 捨不得和你分開
最通常的講法: I hate to leave you or I hate to see you go.
I hate to...... = 我真唔捨得......

I will miss you.
Don't leave me.
Don't abandon me.
I don't want to be separated with you.

Hi,
It causes me excruciating pain to leave you for good.( Present tense)

I'm reluctant to give you this. (我唔捨俾呢樣野你)
I'm reluctant to leave you. (我唔捨得離開你)

或者意譯 :
I don't want to let you go.
I can't live without you.

I miss you/miss you very much

I miss you and I don't want to leave you .
