13.
Cost
= $200

Selling price
= $15 x (20 - 4)
= $15 x 16
= $240

Overall profit per cent
= [$(240 - 200)/$200] x 100%
= (40/200) x 100%
= 20%

=====
15.
Cost
= $480

Selling price
= $3.5 x (10 x 12)
= $420

Lost %
= [$(480 - 420)/$480] x 100%
= (60/480) x 100%
= 12.5%

=====
20.
Cost
= $(2700 + 300)
= $3000

To make a profit of 20%, selling price
= $3000 x (1 + 20%)
= $3600

=====
21.(a)
Cost
= $7760/(1 - 3%)
= $8000

Selling price
= $7440

Loss per cent
= $(8000 - 7440)/$8000
= 7%

(b)
Selling price
= $8000(1 + 10%)
= $8800
