you need the number of the phone,
the serial number (usually on box)
then phone 3 up and ask for them to block the sim card and the black list the phone.
then explain that the phone was purchased online initially and so please could a replacement sim with same number be sent to your address.
That's what i did and i am with virgin.
all went well.
if there's a memory card in it, you can't save memory card (but you prob ahven't so no probs)

NO , because if she was registered she can call to 3g and give them the mobile number and they can lock it but if she wasn't registered there is no way to lock the phone unles she know the person who took it .

if its not registered then you cant lock it, you should always set up registrationb ect, you can try contact your netowrk your using anyway and see if they can do anything at all

Ring 3 , block the sim. She can't do much about the phone as it's probably nicked anyway, if she bought it on Flea-Bay.

Ring a phone shop were the sim cards are from..... eg. o2 sim card....
They might be able to do something most likely not though... a sim caard wouldnt be able to work if it wasnt registered

If you phone 3 they should be able to do it, has she got the IMEI number? It should be on the box [I think that's what it is!] If so then they SHOULD be able to do it! Not totally sure but they will be able to tell you :]
