Under the Graphic Properties, there are 2 Aspect Ratio Options:

1 Maintain Aspect Ratio,
2.Full Screen.

Which option should normally be selected?

What is the effect of each option to the display?
更新1:

I tried both options but I can't see any difference in the display.

1. Depending on your preference, if you select "maintain aspect ratio", the resolution of your current aspect ratio would be kept. However, you would be playing in windowed mode and you would not get the game spanning your entire screen. This is fine if you have a big screen but not so good if your screen is small. Selecting this option would make the game full screen if the game has your monitor's resolution setting. The reason this setting is included is because if the game does not rn at your monitor's native aspect ratio, things would look elongated or streched either vertically or horizontally depending.

2.This setting would cause the game to expand to span the entire screen and if the game does not have your native resolution setting, fonts thigs would once again look streched and it looks wierd when you play. This may also result in lower visual quality and sharpness. However, if the game has your monitor's resolution then it should play fine on full screen

I suggest you try out both to see if they are the same (they should be) and see which one you like better. Remember, this is not a fixed setting that you cannot change so don't be afraid to play a level or two with both settings. Cheers!

to fill the screen ? Scaling. There should be a scaling slider. Otherwise, you just change the resolution by right clickong on your desktop screen, going to properties. Change it to a 4:3 resolution, 16:9, 16:10.

Then Its Aspect Ration is 16:9

Maintain aspect ratio will make it full screen except it will not change the aspect ratio. You will see little black bars around your centered display.

It's like setting 800x600 on a monitor with a native resolution of 1280x1024. Since 800x600 is not the same aspect ratio as 1280x1024, there will be little black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

1. Will keep the original fixed aspect ratio of whatever you're viewing ie if your resolution is 1152x864 and what you're viewing is 420x340, for example, the display will not resize for it.
2. Will stretch everything you view to fullscreen, regardless of it's resolution/aspect ratio
