Virus Problem, Urgent!! Perfessional Wanted. 20 Points!!!!!!

My computer( Windows Vista Home Premium) caught loads of viruses, such as 888bar, Trojan Zolb, Trojan Elitebar, Infostealer. I have the newest version of Norton AntiVirus, and i always update. However, when it is scanning my computer, I saw it was scanning those viruses( by the names shone on the scanning window), but it just dont care them and skip them! It totally don't care them! So I can't delete them, and I tried to search the file but still can't find it........ I read on the Internet that i should restart in Safe mode and rescan, then it will be ok........ Is that real? What should i do? My computer is new, you know.......

Of course you should contact Norton first. It is their software that can't clean the virus.

Alternatively, you may try another antivirus software. Sometimes, one antivirus performs better for some virus and another antivirus software do better for others.

I am using avast which is free. You may download it from www.avast.com
