在數學中，三角函數（也叫做圓函數）是角的函數；它們在研究三角形和建模周期現象和許多其他應用中是很重要的。三角函數通常定義為包含這個角的直角三角形的兩個邊的比率，也可以等價的定義為單位圓上的各種線段的長度。更現代的定義把它們表達為無窮級數或特定微分方程的解，允許它們擴展到任意正數和負數值，甚至是複數值。

三角函數在數學中屬於初等函數裡的超越函數的一類函數。它們本質上是任意角的集合與一個比值的集合的變數之間的映射。由於三角函數具有周期性，所以並不具有單射函數意義上的反函數。三角函數在複數中有重要的應用，在物理學中也是常用的工具。

Sin：是Sine的縮寫，中文叫「正弦」
它的值所代表的是：三角形的對邊和斜邊之間的比例
sin x=對角邊/斜邊


Cos：是Cosine的縮寫，中文叫「餘弦」
它的值所代表的是：三角形的鄰邊和斜邊之間的比例
cos x=鄰角邊/斜邊


Tan：是Tangent的縮寫，中文叫「正切」。
它的值所代表的是：三角形的對邊和鄰邊之間的比例。
tan x=對角邊/鄰角邊


sin ,cos ,tan 本身沒有數值，也沒有任何意義的
必需配合一個角度，才可以計算，得出數值
sin x ,cos x ,tan x是三角函數的一種，它的值會因著不同的x而改變
