Consider two paralles lines
L1:3x+4y-7=0
L2:3x+4y+8=0
(a0 Find the distance between L1 and L2
(b) a line L cuts L1 and L2 at P and Q respectiveu and PQ =3(x)^0.5
(i)Find the acute angle between PQ and L1
(ii)hence find the slope of the line L
(c)If L passes through the point (2,3) ,find the equation

Would you please give me the answer before 6 O'clocl?

a) Take any pt on L1
When X=0,
Y=7/4
(0,7/4)
[3(0)+4(7/4)+8]/[(3^2+4^2)^1/2]<--absolute
=8/5
b1)請問3(x)^0.5 係咩意思?
你畫左個圖出黎再用sin(acute angle)=distance between L1 and L2/PQ
b2)let slope of L be m
slope of L1=-3/4
tan(acute angle)= [m-(-3/4)]/ [1+(-3m/4)]
c) (y-3)=m(x-2)
