Management problems

I 've be promoted to supervisor for 10 months and I 'm working at parallel
duty with an other supervisor who promoted 3 months before me .

I'm always as a 後備 , staff will ask me to help when he is absence or at
busy , the most 困擾 is a few staff is jealousy for my promoted and they are
doing ignore me and influence the others .

The other issue is I'm responsible to a small team compare to a big team
responsible by the other supervisor . This is the initial decision at the begining I was agreed due to it is subject to review after 6 months.
I'm on the small team that make me may not explore to more part of
discussion of the operation and I subjested to have some changes but after
discussed to the manger , the fact is ' not necessary to change in some reason
due to the client '

I'm knewing my weakness that I have 沈默的 personality , I will give
instruction directly and will not 長篇大論, the reverse expression of another
supervisor , how can I improve the communication and coaching to other
people and how to build up the relationship with those jealousy one

I think your boss has recognized your strengths before promoting you 10 months ago. You should aware your own strengths and weaknesses. Try your best to improve the weak areas. The difference between supervisor and general staff is to supervise of course. Therefore, you should brush up your leadership and communication skills. Of course, one’s character won’t change overnight. You need to learn and practice before you really can acquire those skills. Meanwhile, what you can also do is to be more concern about your staff. Talk more with them, try to learn their difficulties in routines. Help sort it out as far as possible. Ignore what the other group’s attitude about you. Focus on your own job and build teamwork. Don’t blame yourself, and be positive minded.
