This may be a good question since you ask here, I donot think it
makes any sense. If the septic tank does not help to improve the
quality of the discharge in respect of enviroment. Why every house
need a septic tank at all. In science this is a wrong !

The answer is very simple, because they are of four different meanings and "consequently" is the most suitable.
