A:I once read an article about the phenomenon that persons were influenced by advertisements. I was seeing the increasing number of people, especially children, would buy goods not for their necessary but being attracted by advertisements. Therefore, the argue about above situation is a hot topic nowadays, in this essay I want to talk about these two sides.
The objectors, like most of parents, insist on that advertisements will have the negative effect to children. First of all, the promotions of goods always show the perfect said but explain nothing of their shortages, and lead at 80% children who are lack of the sense of distinction to buy the goods with bad quality. Then, according to some polls, the products’ advertisements with some pop stars who are popular among children often cause young buyers willing to cost a much higher price town the products that without advertisements.
On the contrary, some people claim that advertisements are beneficial to children since they use interesting ways to introduce the most new and modern information to children. To be more precise, advertisements always include all the modernist technologies of new products, which is the best way for children to learn useful knowledge besides school; in addition, children are attracted easily by these lively advertisements to learn this useful information.
With regard to the points mentioned above, I still give my support to the opposite side. Perhaps there is some useful information in advertisements, but it is very limited that will even lead children to have a misleading with the complete knowledge.
