Which dictionary has the correct sound of where?
I noticed that the first one has an obvious two "sounds" - wer ah
whereas the second one has like one "sound" - wer

And I seem to hear both of them a lot, so I am getting confused. Which one is correct and common to say? Thank you very much.
That's also same with the word "there"

Where and There are one syllable each. At least they do in my geographic region.

Other areas might have different pronunciation. I don't think there is a "right" or "wrong" pronunciation. If you hear both a lot, you must be in an area where several regional dialects overlap. Whichever one feels more comfortable to you is the one *you* should use.

The others are right, but for ordinary learning, go with the Encarta pronunciation. That's closer to what you'd say in conversation.

They are both correct. The first one is just pronounced longer (like how you would for a little child "The word is tommmmmmmato not toppppppppato")

There are different accents, which make simple words sound totally different. (Ex. a Jamaican may accidentally say the word 'things' as 'tings' instead because of their accent.)
