No, it's asking TIMES instead of PLUS.-2x^3 * BLANK =12x^8
So BLANK = 12x^8 / (-2x^3) = -6x^5

12x^8/(-2x^3)
= (12/-2)(x^8/x^3)
= [-6][x^(8 - 3)]
= -6x^5
â´ the other factor is -6x^5.
= (12/-2)(x^8/x^3)
= [-6][x^(8 - 3)]
= -6x^5
â´ the other factor is -6x^5.
