A tiny mouse named Ray lived in a garden. He ate bulbs in spring. He ate flower seeds in summer and fall. By winter, all the food in the garden had been eaten up. Ray was hungry and scared.

One day, Ray saw a man with a suitcase. He could smell food inside the suitcase. The suitcase had a tiny hole. It was so small that only a tiny mouse could squeeze inside. Ray ran towards the suitcase...

Then, Ray saw some cheese inside the suitcase. 'What a large piece of yummy cheese!' Ray thought. Ray was hungry, he went towards the cheese at once. 'Oh, dear!' Ray yelled. He was caught by the mouse-trap, he was hurt, he could not run away.
