( You buy stocks per HAND, not per stock.)

If 1000 stocks = one hand, you can buy one hand( 1000 stocks)- at $12 each for $12000
升至15元時, 一萬元的股賺了多少?
You earn three dollars per stock, 1000X3 = 3000 dollars, but
when you sell your stocks, you have to pay some extra charges .

( commission and some extra charges not included).

升至40又會賺多少?
You EARN 25 dollars per stock, 1000 X25 = $ 25000.
Don't forget you will have to pay some extra charges when you sell your stocks .

Notes:
The commission varies . It depends on which bank .
You need to check with your bank / or find some information on the net to see
the stock you are going to buy- how many stocks per hand because every stock is different.
