1) What must be the velocity, in meters per second, of a beam of electrons if they are to display a de Broglie wavelength of 2.6 um?

2) Calculate the finite value of r , in terms of a(o) at which the node occurs in the wave function of the 2s orbital of a Li (+2) ion.

1) l = 2.6*10^-6 = h/mv = 6.63*10^-34/(9.1*10^-31*v)

v = h/(ml) = 6.63*10^-34/(9.1*10^-31*2.6*10^-6) = 280m/s

(l is wavelength)

2) no idea I'm afraid =(
