i am getting to different answers on 2 calculators
so here is the question and please explain how to do it thanx

what i wont to no is if you + everything inside the brackets then the power of or what? if so dose this only applies to + or - or everything

What is ever in the brackets always goes first.5^2 = 25.
diff calcs diff results: Due to: Calc has no brackets.
How to resolve: First do -6 + 11, then square it.

Yes, everyone else told you right. But in the UK (where I think you are), we are taught BODMAS, not PEMDAS
B=Brackets
O=Other (like squares etc.)
D=Divide
M=Multiply
A=Add
S=Subtraction
B=Brackets

your answer should be 25
because with the "oder of operation" concept, you should do the math in parenthesis fist:
-6 + 11 = 5
5 is positive because when you add a positive number wit a negative number, the answer takes the sign of the highest number, in this case it's 11
then you are left with (5)^2 and you simply square the % by multiplying it by itself" 5X5= 25
answer should be 25

Okay, well you need to add what is in parenthesis first. Remember PEMDAS: parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.
(-6 + 11)^2 = (5)^2
