I agree that your parents should talk to this tutor. Remember you do not have a contract with your tutor. With this kind of attitude, he would not be able to help you with your study.

Do not bring shame to your fellow tutors.

To all the students of private tutors :
The job of private tutors is to help you with your studies. If there is any problems, talk to your tutor asap. Dont waste your time. Change tutors if you have to.

I suggest that you should ask your parents to have a long talk with this present tutor first- just give him or her a chance .
If your tutor doesn't take a hint or something, then you may consider hiring a new one.
Don't worry about it.
Not all tutors would be the same.
Perhaps when your mom hires a new tutor in the future, she should test him by letting you study with him for one hour to see if he is a good one beforehand.
If the tutor is on time and teaches you well, then go on studying with him.
