You probably need a mixture of cardio & light weight training. 1 lb = 3,500 calories. 2 lbs = 7,000 cals. To loose 1 lb per week, you have to either burn or cut back 500 cals to loose that 1 pound. It's 1,000 to loose 2lbs per week. But, don't do a restrictive caloric diet alone. You have to take into account fats, good & bad. Go to :

If you feel like your legs are gonna buckle, you sweat, feel sick, or are super thirsty, that could mean diabetes. Or your sugars are just low. Don't loose anymore than 2 lbs per week. Good Luck.
