1) HKU
The MEd programme can be completed over one academic year of full-time study, or two but no more than four consecutive academic years^ of part-time study. Classes are generally held on weekdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

3) HKBU (PART-TIME ONLY)
Students are normally required to attend classes on weekday evenings. A student may take no more than three and no less than two courses in a semester. Normally, students should complete the Programme in two calendar years. An alternative modular mode may be available for students who would like to take a more flexible schedule of study and credit load. Please contact the Department of Education Stduies for details. With special permission, a student may extend his or her study but in no cases would the period of study be allowed to exceed three calendar years.
