”捧著” 和 ”端著” 有什麼分別?

捧

◎ 兩手托著：～心（用手捂住胸，喻拙劣的模仿）。～日。～讀（敬辭，讀別人的文章等）。～腹大笑。


端

◎ 用手很平正地拿：～盆。～碗。～茶。把問題～出來說清楚。

我覺得”捧著”多數用於口語化; "端著"用於書面語.

其實兩個詞可以通用

捧著

(1) Hold up with both hands:捧水飲 drink from cupped hands;
把東西捧住 hold up article to prevent toppling;
(2) Serve with both hands:捧茶，捧藥 serve tea, medicine;
(3) To pay public tribute to actor, applaud in public:把他捧到天上 applaud person to the skies;
捧得太高 praise person too highly;
捧臭腳 lick one's boots, see 捧場 [peng3chang2]↓.
(4) Holding with two hands as gesture of respect: 捧讀，捧誦 read your letter held in two hands.
解：用兩手托物。例：捧著碗、捧著茶、捧著書

端著

To hold in the hand, esp. with both hands: 端茶，端菜 bring tea, a dish of food;
端桌子，端燈 bring or carry a table, a lamp;
端上來bring up.
解：以手平正的托、拿。例：端著茶、端著菜、端著碗
