travelling in budapest~

I am going to Budapest for 5 days. And I will travel to Bratislava on the 2nd or 3rd day.

How much do you suggest I should bring (in forint) for the whole trip (I have paid for the hotel)?

Should I get the currency for Slovakia before I set off or only get that in Budapest?

You can bring Euro and change to Forint there.
If you have paid the hotel, all you need will be eating, transport, things to buy. Eating & transport will not be too expensive comparing with other West Europe countries, but should be a bit more expensive than HK.
I think av. about HK$300-$500 per day per person will be enough.
