1. Let x and x+2 be those 2 numbers.x(x+2)=168
x^2+2x-168=0
x=12 or -14 (rej)
so the 2 numbers are 12 and 14.
2. let x, 14-x be the sides next to right angle.
x(14-x)/2=24
-x^2+14x-48=0
x=8 or 6
so the 斜邊is √(8^2+6^2)=10cm
5. let x, 10-x be the length of 對角綫.
x(10-x)/2=12
-x^2+10x-24=0
x=4 or 6
length of one side=√((4/2)^2+(6/2)^2)=√13
so circumference of the rhombus=4√13=14.4cm
