In the Pokémon series, who has a dad?

Ash - mentioned in the show but (As far as I know) never appears
May - If i'm not mistaken there was one episode when she was little and crawling on top of gyarados i think thats it.... then i somehow saw her dad....probably.. i saw her mom though... i think.... my memory is escaping me LOL
dawn - i only saw and hear about her mom...

B.) May. In the series, Ash's father was mentioned once, but Dawn's was never mentioned. May's father is a Gym leader and he was actually seen in the anime, but Ash and Dawn's father never appeared.

I have not followed the series since when it was originally cool (first few seasons). I know Ash does but you never see him, he is mentioned and is a gym leader. However I have no idea about May and Dawn. All of them literally have fathers, but in their lives it would be Ash unless there can be multiple answers.
