Let the two number are x and x+2.3(x+2)=2x+22
3x+6=2x+22
x=16
∴The two number are 16 and 18.

設二數是x和x+2.
3(x+2)-2x=22
3x+6-2x=22
x+6-6=22-6
x=16

y = larger number = 18
3x - 2y = 22
3(18) - 2(16) = 22
y = larger number = 18
3x - 2y = 22
