Help with IE installation

I am not familiar with PC softwares, can someone help me to understand...

I am having problems with IE usage now, wonder..
Is it OK to re-install IE (Internet Explorer) alone without reinstalling the whole Windows XP? How do I do it without affecting the current systems and files?

Where to find latest version of IE and is it for free?

Any help is highly appreciated...

如果你是使用IE6, 你可以重新安裝它：
放入 Windows XP 安裝光盤在光盤機，然後在開始 > 執行，鍵入：rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf
重新安裝後再次嘗試有沒有問題。
如果你是使用IE7，你可以先在新增或移除程式中將IE7移除，然後重覆以上步驟重裝IE6, 再到以下網址下載及重裝IE7：
http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/a/5/4a5a86de-af85-432e-979c-fa69e5d781db/IE7-WindowsXP-x86-cht.exe
安裝完成後再次試試問題能否解決！
