When starting Depo and within the first 7 days of the start of a period, no contraception is needed other than your Depo injection according to the World Health Organization. WHO also states: “She can also have the first injection at any other time, if it is reasonably certain that she is not pregnant. If it has been more than 7 days since menstrual bleeding started (if this is the case for you), she will need to abstain from sex or use additional contraceptive protection for 7 days.”
Hope that helps!

You're being overly cautious, taking more hormones then needed is only going to mess up your body in the long run and even cause infertility. The depo shot is a months worth of hormones and plan B is a months worth of hormones. So you have more then enough hormones in your body for 3 women.

If you're that worried about getting pregnant then use a condom!
