You need to create a partnership between phone and laptop. Right click on the bluetooth icon in the system tray and choose to 'Send a file' or 'Receive a file'. Turn the phone's bluetooth on and follow the directions - you will need to enter a passkey (usually defaults as 0000) but make one up for this partnership...
If you don't have a bluetooth system tray icon, go to Start and click on 'Connect To'

Yes you can copy between the phone and computer by bluetooth, if you have a bluetooth dongle. This is a small device that plugs into the USB port of your computer. They are inexpensive, but very useful. Any dongle will work for any phone and any computer.

You should have software on your PC to do the connection. If you have Motorola then they have something called Phone tools.

Anyway, you switch on the bluetooth on your phone and the laptop. You set the laptop into discovery mode. You then tell the phone to go connect. When it does you enter the password, which is usually 0000 if it hasn't been set. Then the phone will appear as a folder on your PC where you can copy files off it.
