For example: "You are writing an email asking about how much does the ticket cost."

Hi,

I am a student from New Zealand and I would like to ask how much does XXX ticket cost... (etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.)

Since it's email and not formal letter, you simply have to tell the receiver the details about you that they might need then jump straight into your point of sending this email (ie: enquiry, application.etc.etc.)

Don't worry about keeping it too formal unless you're applying for a job.

If your email is for job application, also starts by telling them your name and briefly about your qualification (where you graduate? with what degree? etc.)
For job application email, use "Best/Warm regards" at the end, then your name under it.

Hope it helps! :)
