MRI scan of cervical spine

1. Normal vertebral bodies, articular facets, facet joints, spinous processes & other bony elements. Reversal of normal spinal curvature.

2. Degenerative changes in the discs. C4-C5 & C5-C6 discs show annular bulge but no prolapse.

IMPRESSION: Cervical disc degeneration.

Thank you!

ok
1. sounds like the vertabrae and its parts of ok. but your spine like a backwards S. the top of the s being your cervical spine. yours is curved the other way.

2. degenerative changes are normally arthritis. annular bulge is the "cushion" between your vertabrae are gettin squished, likely from the degenerative changes. the vertabrae basically squish the cushion like you would do if you were trying to squish a marshmallow between two graham crackers. it kinda ooses out the sides.

Pretty much over all its saying you have arthritis in your cervical vertebrae
