The employee's employment will continue (unless terminated summarily by reason of gross misconduct) until terminated by either party by giving to the other the following period of written notice or the amount of wages in lieu of the following notice period:

Up to 1 month's continuous employment if during probation:
- without notice or payment in lieu

More than 1 month but less than 6 months' continuous employment:
- 1 week



我做左兩星期想quit,有冇機會有半個月人工? 定係要做夠一個月,再用一星期通知先有第一個月的人工?

做左兩星期想quit,有冇機會有半個月人工? Yes, in fact according to the Hong Kong law, as long as you work in that company for 7 working days, they have to pay your wages
If you want to quit after one month, you do not have to pay any money as 代通知金 because you mentioned on above :
Up to 1 month's continuous employment if during probation : - without notice or payment in lieu
用一星期通知 - For this you have to check your employment contract which tells what is the period of 通知.
According to what you said, you do not have to worry about this, because you want to quit before one month.
So the company should pay for you any wage according to the days you worked in that company.

More than 1 month but less than 6 months' continuous employment:
- 1 week

無論你做左幾多日, 只有你係有足夠既通知期, 你係可以攞番D人工.按你既合約, 你第一個月無需通知期,只要當天通知便可, 第二個月至第六個月就一星期通知
