My personal experience:
one of my ex-boss (12 years ago) want me to resign from my job and say "XYZ#X*" to me. My reply is not angry with him. Then I reply to him that you said "XYZ#X*" to me but this "XYZ" coming in from my right ear and go out through my left ear. I
simle to him and replied that you want me resign but I will not. Then he feel very angry with me.

method to 串到條友冇聲出: You must know the behind reason (my ex-boss want me to resign) that he want to 串 you and you must reply the opposite thing ( I replied that I not resign) of that reason. And he cannot reply anymore.
(becasue my ex-boss was shocked by my reply that I will not resign)
