奇異公司是什麼公司?

奇異公司（General Electric Company，GE，NYSE：GE），又稱通用電氣，是世界上最大的提供技術和服務業務的跨國公司。據2007年統計，GE是世界上擁有市場資產第二多的公司，並且在過去4年銷售收入一直位於世界第一或第二。2003年，GE公司的銷售收入是1342億美元。
目前，公司業務遍及世界100多個國家，擁有員工315,000人。 現任董事長及首席執行官（CEO）是傑夫伊梅爾特。
通用電氣公司的總部位於美國康涅狄格州費爾菲爾德市。GE公司由多個多元化的基本業務集團組成，如果單獨排名，有13個業務集團可名列《財富》雜誌500強。
