Please explain the process of how the heated and compressed gas inside a jet goes out of the engine. And there are 2 exits in a jet. Why the gas do not go out of the entering hole? What kept the gas going out only the exit hole? Thank you.

The compressed air inside the engine is heated and expands rapidly. The pressure of the hot gas increases. It is directed by the engine chamber to the exhaust opening at the rear of the engine.

In fact, a jet engine is a form of gas turbine. It consists of a compressor at the front part which draws air in. Because of the action of the compressor, air only can flow in one direction.
