Why do you think voting is important/ not important in HK?

I think voting is important in HK because of the following reasons:
(1)Voting can encourage the people of Hong Kong to choose the suitable person to represent themselves to force the Government to carry out the policies that are good to them. For example the lower class (poor people) will choose Lee Chuek Yan, Leung Yiu Chung,Wong Kwok Hing to represent them to fight for the lowest wages for the lower class labours.
(2)Voting can encourage the people of Hong Kong to concern about the public affairs of Hong Kong. They can vote the suitable person to carry out the policies of public affairs of Hong Kong.For example about the time table to elect Legislative Councillor and Chief Director of Hong Kong by every p[eople of Hong Kong.
