Digital broadcasting encourages Hong Kong citizens to buy new LCD Hi-resolution TV, Hi-resolution camera, etc. The spending in these areas increase and that helps the technology development as companies making money. However, Hong Kong is not keen on producing these products but keen on selling these products.
