為何 carbon dioxide 係 CO2, 不是C2O4?

因為di解2;等同tri解3既意思
而CO2既結構係O=C=O,C既共價鍵用晒,冇可能再駁其他野,所以好難有C2O4.就算有都係唔同既野
但係唔會叫carbon dioxide因為字既解釋係1個碳,2個氣

因為carbon dioxide 有 one CARBON ATOM 和 two OXYGEN ATOM

because in the structure of CO2, the outermost electron shell of C and O contain 8 electrons, so the structure of CO2 is stable.
