VALUE OF X?!!!!!!! arghh. i know X=4 but how do u get the answer?!
i tried adding 6x and 3x to make the equation 9x + 4 = 16,but that made no sense. especially if the answer is 4....

6x + 4 = 3x + 166x = 3x + 16 - 4
6x = 3x + 12
6x - 3x = 12
3x = 12
x = 12/3
x = 4
