Dilute sulphuric acid is added to react with ClO- in bleach to form chlorine gas, chlorine gas will react with potassium iodide solution immediately to form iodine which will dissolve in potassium iodide solution.

要視乎滴定的步驟而定。加入稀硫酸入甚麼的溶液或混合中？

若把稀硫酸直接加入漂白水中，會有氯氣稀出。
OCl^-(g) + Cl^-(g) + 2H^+(g) → H2O(l) + Cl2(g)

測試要用多少的某種稀酸才能中和這漂白水
