因為未能出席晚會而道歉的商業書信

想比較簡潔地寫封不出席晚會的道歉信 ... 請幫幫忙~
因為是幫老闆劉先生寫的, 但以我的名義send信出去 ... 可否用we are apologies that mr. lau cannot attend the celebration呢?
