Organic substance can be broadly defined as any living structure, such as an animal, a plant, fungus or bacterium, capable of growth and reproduction. Inorganic substance is the otherwise.
生物體係有生命嘅個體, 例如動物, 植物, 真菌, 或者病毒, …. 能進行新陳代謝。
非生物體便不是。
