LCD TV Panel was broken

you just can wait for actual quotation, then consider go ahead to pay for the repair or reject the quotation......
first of all, due to this is the "physical damage" i think all company's policy must not be included inside this condition in the warranty, so you need to pay if wants to repair, secondly, due to this TV is the model(LA40M86BD) just for the HSBC promotion, so it can't to add money to change another model....

finally, i suggest you wait the quotation first, but on the other hand, you need to check the price of another model and other brand's TV(you may not accept the quotation). let me remind you one thing, this promotion (HSBC welcome gift) just have 1 year warranty, if you accepted the quotation, your TV just also 1 year warranty, if you buy another model's new TV or other brand's TV, the warranty should be arround 2-5years, depends on which brand and which model.......

Some Credit Card companies have bought you insurance for the goods you purchased. Check with HSBC and see if you can claim the insurance.

I think u can give $$$ and change another new model instead of only change the panel.

first .. samsung has to order the panel for u .. u have to wait for a long time as shipping problem .

so ..I suggest u to change another new model by give additional money
