Again, W-4 form quick question.?

does anybody tell me that how can i claim 1 allowance on the higher paying job and 0 on the other one.??
so what should i write on Line 5?

This question cannot be answered without knowing the income amount from both jobs.

I would suggest that you complete the worksheet on page two of the W-4 titled Two-Earners/Multiple Jobs. This should get you close enough to avoid any penalties.

You file a separate W-4 form with each job. Put one on the first, zero on the second W-4

You need a separate W-4 for each job. You put 1 on line five for the higher-paying job, and 0 on line five for the second job. (Line five is "total number of allowances".)

You fill out 2 W-4s. On the one you turn into employer A, put 1 on line 5. On the one you turn into employer B, put 0.
