provided & proved

Provided :

This is a conditional conjunction. We use this word as a condition for an action linking to its result.

Example :
I will give you an apple provided that you finish your home work before 4 pm.
- we usually put a word “that” after provided
- from above example you can see that : whether I will give you an apple is based on the condition that you finish your home work before 4 pm.

Proved :

Prove is a normal verb, while proved is its past tense.

Example :
Mary is proved to be a clever girl since she can answer any difficult questions.
This is an example of passive voice – Mary is proved…..

She proved that my answer is wrong by checking the dictionary.
This is a normal past tense sentence.
