✔ 最佳答案
15x^3-7x^2-2x=0
x(15x^2-7x-2)=0
x(3x-2 )(5x+ 1 )=0
x = 0 or 2/3 or -1/5

I hope I did that right!

15x^3 - 7x^2 - 2x = 0
x(15x^2 - 7x - 2) = 0
x(15x^2 + 3x - 10x - 2) = 0
x[(15x^2 + 3x) - (10x + 2)] = 0
x[3x(5x + 1) - 2(5x + 1)] = 0
x(5x + 1)(3x - 2) = 0

x = 0

5x + 1 = 0
5x = -1
x = -1/5 (-0.2)

3x - 2 = 0
3x = 2
x = 2/3

∴ x = -1/5 (-0.2) , 0 , 2/3
2008-10-02 8:08 am
x (15x² - 7x - 2) = 0
x (5x - 1)(3x + 2) = 0
x = 0 , x = 1/5 , x = - 2/3

You will have three possible values for x in this case. First factor out x giving you the first possibility of x=0.

Then with the remaining portion of the equatio use the quadratic formula to get

x=2/3 and x= -1/5

15x^3 - 7x^2 - 2x = 0

x(15x^2 - 7x - 2) = 0

x(3x - 2)(5x + 1) = 0

x = 0, 2/3, -1/5

factor out an x:

x(15x^2-7x-2)=0

x(5x+1)(3x-2)=0

x=0, x=-1/5 and x=2/3
