You already have the same denominator so you can rewrite the equation as:

[3x + 2 + 3x + 6] / (3x + 4)

= (6x + 8) / (3x + 4)

= 2(3x + 4) / (3x + 4)

Now you can cancel out the 3x + 4 from the top and bottom and you are left with

= 2

(3x + 2)/(3x + 4) + (3x + 6)/(3x + 4)
= (3x + 2 + 3x + 6)/(3x + 4)
= (3x + 3x + 2 + 6)/(3x + 4)
= (6x + 8)/(3x + 4)
= 2(3x + 4)/(3x + 4) (cancel out 3x + 4)
= 2

((3x+2)/(3x+4)) + ((3x+6)/(3x+4)) =

Can add numerators, since they are both over the same denominator
( (3x + 2) + (3x + 6)) / (3x + 4) =
(6x + 8) / (3x + 4) =

Pull a factor of 2 out of each term in the numerator
2(3x + 4) / (3x + 4) =

Cancel a term of (3x + 4) out of the top and bottom
2

((3x+2)/(3x+4)) + ((3x+6)/(3x+4)) = 2

since the denominators are the same simply adding the numerators would do. the obtained numerator is twice that of the denominator and can be factorized into 2.

answer:
(3x+2 + 3x+6) / (3x+4)
= (6x + 8) / (3x + 4)

= 2.

((3x+2)/(3x+4)) + ((3x+6)/(3x+4)) = ((3x+2)+(3x+6))/(3x+4)
= (6x+8)/(3x+4)
= 2(3x+4)/(3x+4)
= 2
