23.Mrs. Lee deposits a certain amount of money at a bank. If the interest rate p.a. decreasefrom 4% to 3.75% ,she will get $25 less interest. Find her principal.

Let principal = P.Interest at 4% = 0.04P.
Interest at 3.75% = 0.0375P. Therefore,
0.04P - 0.0375P = 25
0.0025P = 25
P = 25/0.0025 = 10000.
