Major Pain: sore, dry, raw throat?

i've had strep over 13 times and each time it was different, sometimes it would hurt like hell and others i didn't even know i had it until the doctor told me. im almost positive that's what you have but im not a doctor, make an appointment asap so it doesn't become severe.

also for the dryness, if you suck on jolly ranchers it helps a bundle.

Dry Raw Throat

u can't eat anything hot ,fried and roasted. you can eat bananas, pears,cucumbers,green grams soup,spinach, eggplants,duck egg,duck meat ,hare meat

Go to see a doctor as soon as possible, as this is a possible sign of infection. In the meantime, gargle warm salty water and (if you are able) take some paracetamol.

Symptoms of strep throat include: Severe and sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms.
Pain or difficulty with swallowing.
Fever over 101° (38.3°); lower fevers may indicate a viral infection and not strep.
Swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
White or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils.
Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth at the back near the throat.
Swollen tonsils, although this symptom may also be caused by a viral infection.

Keep in mind the fever one. Do you have a high fever? Might be worth going to an urgent care clinic if you have one in your community. If not, salt water gargles often help.
