wat car should/ can i get in this budget?

I'm in Sydney, and juz Got ma "P" drivers' license a week ago. Ma Dad was thinking of getting me a 20,000-30,000AUD car, so i was thinking wat car should i get?
small hatches
1) Toyota Corolla Conquest hatch $27,990 (Sydney city toyota)
2) Volkswagen Golf 2.0 comfortline $29,990 (Barloworld Volkswagen)

or should i get mid-size car instead?
1) Honda Accord Vti $29,990 (Lake Hoskin Honda)
2) Toyota Camry Altise $29,900 (Sydney city toyota)
3) Holden VE commodore $29,990 (Parramatta Holden)
4) Nissan maxima ST $ 30,900 (Parramatta Nissan)

or should I get a luxury second hand car like:
BMW 3series
Alfa Romeo156....

Please gimme some advice, caz i dunno wat to choose, they are so many "good cars" to choose from!

It is obvious that i am asking those people who has been living in Australia for a while and has literally driven those cars above. But thanks for your advice anywayz!

You can buy 1000 toy cars and spare the rest of your money.
