Good morning everyone. I’m going to talk about my life was changed.

Let me introduce me first, UM…my name is XXX but I used to like people call me Patrick. I ‘m 18year old and I from Hong Kong. I just graduation in high school and I’m got fail in English exam.

In the future, I hope I can be an excellent hotel management. If you want to have a good job in Hong Kong. You should have a good English. That why I study in Australia.

Actually, when I know I can study in Australia .I already know my life was changed.
Basically, I have 4 parts to talk about my life. Country, Life style, Education and Sociality.

Let me talk about Country first. Long time ago, I want to live with foreigner people, I want to know more culture. For example, foreigner people when they want to drink water, they just open faucet to drink. Also I love my home stay, they’re very taking care

Second, my life style also changes. Because I live in Sydney, if I get trouble who can help me because no one can speak Cantonese. I had a experience, two week ago. When I go home I can’t found the bus stop, so I had to asked someone and speak English. But when I in Hong Kong,

I don’t have problem to find bus stop. Because everywhere have Chinese word. The second experience is no one advises me to study. Because when I use computer, my mother always say hurry up to study, so I have to advise by myself.

And I have to learn how to save money. I can’t always tell my parents to send money for me. So I have to take care by myself.
Third education, I like study in Sydney. Because in here the teaching was interesting .In Hong Kong, the teacher just talks. Very boring.

In here I can in activity to learn English. So I like here.
Fourth, long time ago, I really want to open my eyes. I want to contact with different people from different countries and know more on their cultures.
In Hong Kong, you are very difficult to meet other country people. Now I can. In my class, I had Korea people Japan Tai wan.

Secondly, my life style had also changed. As I am living in Sydney now, if I get in trouble ,no one can help me because they cannot speak Cantonese. Like,I couldn’t found the bus stop when I wanted go home two week ago, so I had to asked someone in English.

However, when I was in Hong Kong, I didn’t have any problem to find the bus stop because everyone aroung can speak Cantonese. Also,there is no one force me to study. When i was in Hong Kong, my mother always hurried me to study when I used computer, but now I have to advise myself.

Thirdly,about education, I like studying in Sydney because the teaching was interesting here .In Hong Kong ,the teacher just talk with the textbooks but not interactions,it is very boring. On the other hand, I can learn English in many different ways here,so I love studying here

Good morning everyone. I am going to talk about the change of my life.

Let me introduce myself first, my name is XXX, but I prefer people calling me Patrick. I am 18 years old and I am from Hong Kong. I have just graduated from high school. I failed in English exam, though.

My goal is to be excellent at hotel management. To get a good job in Hong Kong, you should be equipped with fluent English, and that is the reason why I am studying in Australia now. I'd like to improve my English.

At the very moment when I knew I was going to studying in Australia, I knew my life would be changed. I will analyse this from four aspects, living environment, education, lifestyle and society.

Long time ago, I always wanted to stick with foreign people and knew more about their culture. And now I am with my host family, they care about me very much.

My lifestyle has changed as well. I am living in Sydney and no one knows how to speak Cantonese. For example, when I need to ask the way to the bus stop, I need to speak in English. However, in Hong Kong, I found no problem in finding the way because the words are in Chinese everywhere. And by living alone, I need to learn to force myself to study, as no one will anymore. Furthermore, I have to learn how to manage my savings. I cannot always ask for financial support from my parents.

As for education, I found the teachers in here are quite different from the ones in Hong Kong. The teaching style here is a lot more interesting. And there are so many activities to join in order to improve my English.

Finally, as I mentioned before, I like to be friends with foreign people. I'd like very much to widen my exposure. And in Sydney, I can know more about so many people from different countries and races. That is something that cannot be done in Hong Kong.
